Killian McNulty is a Dublin-based dealer of midcentury furniture, known for his keen eye for unique pieces, and vast knowledge of design history. Killian's Instagram following more than tripled, and his TikTok grew from 0 to over 3,700 followers.
When we started, Killian's Instagram sat at 6,203 followers… it’s now at 20,535 and counting, The growth came primarily from a long-term content strategy built around his expertise rather than from giveaways or other similar short-term growth tactics. Because we helped him set up his TikTok account, he started at zero followers there and together, we’ve built an engaged audience of 3,718. Because we’ve helped position Killian as a thought leader in his space and centered his content around the broader subject of design rather than just specific products, we’ve built his following to consist of fellow design lovers that engage regularly with his posts.

Multiple reels and TikToks reached well beyond his existing audience, with his biggest videos topping 150K views.
Killian's top-performing content consistently found audiences far larger than his following at the time. On Instagram, five reels passed 70,000 views, led by one that reached 152K. On TikTok, his top video reached 187.5K views, and another passed 56K. These results came from a repeatable approach that is still working for him today: create content that puts his knowledge in front of people who already care about design, and let the reach follow.

Content on both platforms turned viewers into customers, starting with his very first online sales.
Before we started working together, social media wasn't a sales channel for Killian’s gallery. That changed with one video post about ceramic “chubby horses”, with over 100K views each on TikTok and Instagram, leading to Killian's first online sales on his newly-set-up website. These showed that short, buzzy videos about the pieces in his shop, told through the lens of a passionate design expert, can sell products repeatedly.

Our Architectural Digest reaction series gave him a repeatable format, and audiences asked for more.
A reaction video to Lenny Kravitz’s Parisian home, which reached over 85,000 views, started a repeatable series where Killian reviews Architectural Digest home tours, calling out the design and tying pieces from the homes back to items in his shop. This concept works because it builds on a content-style popular on long-form platforms like Youtube, made shorter and buzzier to suit Reels + TikTok, while letting Killian show off his design expertise in a digestible way. The video prompted many requests for more videos in the same format, and it gave him a structure he can return to for guaranteed viewership and engagement.
